Alliance Romaine operates as a working committee of the Public Interest Research Group (GRIP, in French), of the University of Quebec in Montreal. You can reach us through the GRIP office at 514-987-3000, #4077, or by email at info@allianceromaine.org.
If you would like to support our efforts to protect the Romaine River, there are many ways to help. Here are a few suggestions:
1. Come to a meeting
Alliance Romaine hosts regular strategy and working meetings at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). Meetings generally take place in the offices of the Groupe de recherche d’intérêt public (GRIP), room DS-3159, 320 Ste-Catherine St Est, (Pavillon J.-A. DeSève) Metro Berri-UQÀM – Write to us (info@allianceromaine.org) to find out when the next meeting will be!
2. Start a branch of Alliance Romaine in your community
Mobilize your community to conserve energy, pressure elected officials, and oppose large-scale hydro dams!
3. Support us with a donation
All funds received will be targeted to our lobby or public info campaigns to help save the Romaine. Cheques should be made out to “GRIP-UQAM”, with the specification “for Alliance Romaine”, and can be mailed to the following address:
GRIP-UQAM
DS-3159
C.P. 8888, succ. Centre-ville
Montréal, PQ,

4. Join our mailing list to find out what else we’re doing
Send an email to info@allianceromaine.org and ask to become a member. You will receive periodic updates, but we will not give your email to anyone else – in other words your inbox will not be flooded with unwanted messages!
